From the moment our adoptable pups arrive in Vermont, they live in a well-trained foster home (not a kennel or shelter) for AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to adoption. This means that each pup receives one-on-one personalized care, each and every day prior to adoption.  They are getting the best healthcare, eating high quality foods {with super food supplements such as Omega 3s, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and more!}, they are learning healthy social skills with the whole family {including other canines}, as well as learning and developing good manners, building their confidence in every-day life experiences. learning how to love their crate for quality resting time, and teaching their foster humans all about themselves so we can help them find their ideal human match!

MOST IMPORTANTLY: we hold our adopters accountable to maintain great health and behavioral/emotional wellness for their canine companion by requiring training with a professional canine trainer to ensure a smooth transition, canine-human understanding, and life-long stress-free awesome life together!!! We ask that you receive professional training for your new canine companion and yourself within the first 6 months post-adoption, and maintain that good stuff for the lifetime of your adoptive fur child.  {For a list of some awesome trainers we recommend, please reach out!}. 
 

Please note that due to the nature of our post-adoption support, WE ONLY ADOPT TO THOSE IN VERMONT OR IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING TERRITORIES (within 100 miles of Burlington, Vermont).

Our current adoption fee: $525

Included in adoption fee:

• Up-to-date core vaccinations

• Up-to-date heartworm and flea & tick preventation

• De-worming

• Spay/neuter

• Microchip

• Up-to-date on physical examination at local veterinary hospital

• 2+ weeks of quality nutrition including a 5 star rated dry food (Pronature Holistic) and added supplements including: fish oils, probiotics, multivitamins, fresh organic vegetables

• 2+ weeks of crate training

• 2+ weeks of basic behavior training (encouraging good manners, comfort being handled, and general doggy mindfulness)

• 2+ weeks of socialization with socially appropriate canines
